the home where i hide

on

pierre and i are just back from four days in new york, laden with goods and happy to be home. every trip to new york city begins and ends the exact same way for me; it begins with me walking around the cobblestoned streets of greenwich village, gazing up at brownstones with transom windows and thinking, “we should totally move here!” it ends with me impatient to get home to toronto, which is really the perfect size, and settle back into a more realistically paced way of life. because this is the way things go every time, i know a long weekend makes the perfect new york holiday. P1050085P1050089P1050093P1050123P1050124P1050126P1050129P1050144P1050150P1050154P1050148P1050157if you’re planning your own long weekend in new york for sometime this spring, here’s a few of the places we stayed, played, and shopped!
